Manufacturing Engineer - All levels

We are recruiting for Manufacturing Engineers with at least 10 years of experience specializing in CNC machining and turning. You will use your experience to develop manufacturing processes for milled and turned parts. You will use state of the art engineering manufacturing tools, be part of a high-performance team, and develop next generation technology. The work you perform will benefit machinists and machine operators by providing a process plan and routings.

 Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop manufacturing processes to transform raw material into finished goods
  2. Determine order of operations, optimal feeds and speeds for milling and turning, and define metal removal rates
  3. Review blueprints and 3D models
  4. Select cutting tools
  5. Create routings
  6. Modify existing routings to improve quality, performance, and cycle times
  7. Work with quality to define inspection plans
  8. Assist sales group with cost estimates and time studies
  9. Effective communicator verbal and written

Experience

  1. BS in Engineering or applicable manufacturing experience
  2. At least 10-year experience in CNC machining and turning is required
  3. Experience creating routings and procedures is required
  4. Expert in MS Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  5. Expert competence in metal removal rates, toolpath best practices, feeds & speeds, and cutting tool selection
  6. Experience machining prismatic parts, weldments and fabrications, and castings
  7. Experience with PLM or PDM system preferred. Experience with Revision control is required.
  8. Experience with Print reading and ASME Y14.5 GD&T
