Key Responsibilities:
As a Level 3 Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical and electromechanical systems to meet industry standards and client expectations. Responsibilities include:

Mechanical Engineering & System Design
-
Mechanics of Materials, Statics & Dynamics, Fluids, Pneumatics, and System Sizing
-
Structural FEA, Static FEA, Dynamic FEA, Thermal FEA, Basic CFD, and System Modeling
-
Power Transmission Sizing, Servo Sizing, Gear & Bearing Sizing
-
Linkage Design, Linear & Rotary Motion System Sizing
-
Precision Parts Engineering – Performance, Failure, Fatigue Analysis
-
-
Machine Design & Tooling Engineering
-
Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Weldments, Clamping, Work Holding
-
GD&T Establishment, Stack Up Analysis, and ASME Y14.5 Standards
-
-
CAD & Drafting
-
3D Modeling, Mechanical Design, and Detailing with a focus on performance, manufacturability, cost, ergonomics, and safety
-
2D drafting of assembly drawings, including procedures, alignment, inspection, and tolerance stackup
-

Manufacturing & Assembly Collaboration
-
Draft Manufacturing and Assembly Plans, including inspection and order of operations
-
Work closely with machine shops and assembly teams during machine builds and testing
-

Documentation & Compliance
-
BOM creation, Revision Control (PLM/PDM), and Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
-
Adherence to schedules, company procedures, and customer expectations
-
Qualifications & Experience:
-
7-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, electromechanical system design, or machine design
-
Strong background in machine design, CAD modeling, and FEA analysis
-
Experience with PLM or PDM systems, with an understanding of revision control
-
Familiarity with machined parts, weldments, fabrications, and castings
-
Knowledge of servo systems, power transmission systems, and hydraulic systems
-
Expertise in ASME Y14.5 GD&T and designing systems with 500+ components
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
